Customer Review
Having used 7th Generation Diapers, I’m sure the Size 6 I ordered would have been terrific but what I needed was pull-ups and not diapers. Would love this size to come in pull-ups. However, whatever 7th Generation products I have used have been great!
Unpredictable – biketan – Newton, MA USA
We have been using Pampers but recently decided to try the 7th Generation diapers on our 8 month-old baby. We bought the Stage 3 diapers which should be more than adequate for our 19 lb baby girl. Unfortunately, some, not all, of the diapers leaked. I think the main difference between these and Pampers is the length of the diaper. Pampers are longer, therefore come up higher in the front and back. We are pretty disappointed. 7th Generation seems like a really good company.
Small size and damp butt equals thumbs down – S. Y. Choi – CA, USA
I am currently switching diaper brands so I bought a whole bunch of different diapers, including 7th generation.
Pros: 7th gen diapers are very soft to the touch and feels well made. The absorbent core is slightly narrower than other major brands (pampers/huggies), which actually is a better fit for my daughter (90th percentile height, 50th percentile weight). The price was actually not much higher than I expected. My daughter’s sensitive skin seems to like it (at least not hate it). Stretchy tabs seem nice and secure.
Cons: 7th gen diapers are much shorter than others, at least by 1″ both at the front and back (2″ total). It looked like a “low-rise” pants on my daughter. The waist band was smaller, too. It fit exactly tight on my daughter who is 23lbs, when the package says size 5 is for 27lbs and up. I felt like I had to place her exactly in the middle of the diaper. Also when I changed her out of a wet diaper, her butt was totally wet. It seems like diaper didn’t soak up pee very well. The wetness was creeping up out to her back slightly, too, which is not surprising because of the short overall length. I was glad it wasn’t a poo diaper.
If it was just the size issues, I might have tried the next size up to see that one is longer, but because of the wetness issue, I will just use up what we have and call it a day.
